On Ramadan’s table - Etiquette for Ramadan

Fasting Ramadan has his own ethics:

One must doing religious deeds(acting and saying) sincerely and only for Allâh’s sake. The prayers, imposed by Allâh, are the most important duties.

The lost of these prayers is against the piety and push to the punishment.

For that Allâh says:

(Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salât (the prayers)[i.e. made their Salât (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times] and have followed lusts. So they will be thrown in Hell.)[Sûrat Maryam, verse 59]

May Allâh have mercy on Ibn Sirrin,he says:

“Fifty years ago,I’ve never missed Takbiret Al Ehram nor I prayed behind a prayer.

That means that I kept always the first row.”

Who fasts should shun all words and all acts which have been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger.

So he must shun lying, which is the announcement of false informations.

The greatest lie is to make the forbidden lawful and the lawful forbidden.

Allâh says:

(And say not concerning that which your tongues put forth falsely: "This is lawful and this is forbidden,so as to invent lies against Allâh. Verily, those who invent lies against Allâh will never prosper.) [Sûrat An-Nahl,verse 116]

And also lying against the Messenger (Peace be upon him)

The Prophet (Peace be upon him)says:

“Whoever tells a lie against me intentionally, then (surely) let him occupy his seat in Hell-fire.”

The Muslim has to shun backbiting, i.e speaking unfavorably or slanderously of a person who is not present.

Allâh says:

(And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allâh.Verily, Allâh is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance,Most Merciful.) [Sûrat Al-Hujurât, verse 12]

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) passed at the night of Isra and Mi'raaj, by a people having copper nails, with which they harm their faces and their bodies.

Then he said:“O Gabriel, who are those people?”

Gabriel said: “Those who eat people’s flesh and backbite.”

The gossip is not less dangerous than backbiting.

A Nammam is a person who conveys disagreeable, false information from one person to another with the intention of causing harm and enmity between them. It is one of the major sins.

The Prophet (Peace be upon him) says: ”A Namam will not enter Paradise.”

Allâh says:

(And (O Muhammad) obey you not everyone Hallaf Mahîn (the one who swears much and is a liar or is worthless)(10). A slanderer, going about with calumnies(11).)[Sûrat Al-Qalam,verse 10 11]

O Allâh! Save our tongues, and forgive us and whose have rights to us...

Ameen... Oh Allah... Ameen... Ameen...

May Allah bless our master Muhammad, his family and his companions, and grant them peace…
