The eclipse prayer is a Sunna for the messenger of Allah peace be upon him, he was doing it at the appearance of this cosmic phenomenon. The Prayer requires special specifications, which is the performance of the prayer after the performance of the intention, then reading Surat Al-Fatiha,then reading Chapter from Surat Al-Baqara or what is equals from the Holy Quran verses, then the first bowing for it suffices the reading of hundred verses from the Holy Quran verses then the straightness and the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha once again and after it takes place a reading two hundreds verse of the Holy Quran, then the bowing and the Allah's Praise - Glory be to Him - suffices for the reading of ninety verse of the Holy Quran then the prostration two ordinary prostrations with the extension of the prostration time then the standing for the performance of the second rak'ah like the first.
As for the Doaa, it is after the completion of the eclipse prayer.
