Musa (AS)
When the prophet's (PBUH) meeting with the holy deity came to an end, he passed by Musa (AS). He asked prophet Muhammad (PBUH), “What did Allah (SWT) ordered you?” The prophet (PBUH) replied, “He (SWT) ordered me with fifty prayers per day.” Musa (AS) said, “Go and ask Allah (SWT) to decrease this number.” The prophet (PBUH) then returned to Allah (SWT) and asked Him to decrease the number of prayers per day. Then, Musa (AS) advised him to go to Allah (SWT) and ask him to decrease the number again. This scene was repeated several times till the number of prayers became five times per day. The prophet (PBUH) was ashamed to go and ask Allah (SWT) to decrease the number of prayers again. Then, Allah (SWT) ordered Muslims to pray five times per day, and they will be rewarded as if they prayed fifty prayers per day. Throughout this journey, the prophet (PBUH) saw the paradise and Al-Kawthar river.
